Five areas of focus, one shared purpose.
PalSpaces works across five interconnected program areas, each designed to create spaces where youth, women, and communities can participate, connect, and lead change.
Youth & Civic Participation
Empowering young people to participate, lead, and shape their communities.
Young Palestinians are not just the future, they are active agents of change today. PalSpaces creates spaces and opportunities for young people to develop their civic knowledge, skills, and confidence, and to engage meaningfully in public and community life.
Women, Peace & Security
Strengthening women's leadership, participation, and voice in peacebuilding.
Palestinian women play a vital role in their families, communities, and society, yet their voices and leadership are too often excluded from formal processes. PalSpaces works to strengthen women's participation, leadership, and meaningful engagement in peacebuilding, civic life, and decision-making
Dialogue & Peacebuilding
Creating spaces for dialogue, exchange, and cooperation across divides.
In a context of deep division and ongoing conflict, dialogue is both a necessity and an act of courage. PalSpaces creates structured spaces for dialogue, exchange, and cooperation — bringing together diverse actors and communities to build understanding, trust, and shared visions for a just and peaceful future.
Community Development
Supporting community-led initiatives that respond to local needs and aspirations.
Sustainable change is built from within communities. PalSpaces supports community-led development initiatives — providing skills, resources, and connections that help communities identify their needs, develop their capacities, and create opportunities for youth and women.
Stories, Media & Advocacy
Amplifying Palestinian voices, experiences, and perspectives.
Stories have the power to change minds, build empathy, and inspire action. Through the Pal Stories initiative and other media and advocacy work, PalSpaces creates platforms for Palestinians, particularly women and young people, to share their experiences, perspectives, achievements, challenges, and aspirations with Palestinian and global audiences.
How we work
Participatory
We design and implement our work with, and for, the communities we serve. Participation is not just a method; it is a value
Inclusive
We actively work to remove barriers to participation and create spaces that are genuinely welcoming for all, regardless of background, identity, or circumstance
Context-sensitive
We understand the Palestinian context deeply and design our work to be relevant, appropriate, and responsive to the realities people face.
Evidence-informed
We learn from our work, from research, and from the experiences of others, and we use that learning to continuously improve what we do
Partner with us
We welcome partnerships with civil society organizations, institutions, funders, and individuals who share our commitment to empowering youth, women, and communities.
